Plantae plant protein: what it is made of and how it compares

25 Grams does not sell Plantae products. We wrote this page because people search for Plantae together with "plant protein" every month. Every Plantae fact comes from the sources at the end, checked on 19 Oct 2026.

Plantae is a Thai plant-protein brand. Its formulas contain no milk, so it is not whey. People who search "Plantae whey" mostly mean this brand's plant protein powder.

Which company is behind Plantae?

Marketeer (9 Nov 2022) reported that Plantae went on sale in April 2021 under Koro Brothers Co., Ltd., selling on Shopee, Lazada, LINE Shopping and TikTok and in Tops, Gourmet Market, Foodland and Villa Market supermarkets. The National Innovation Agency (NIA) startup directory lists Plantae Life Co., Ltd., established January 2022. In 2026 the brand launched a high-protein almond milk at 7-Eleven.

What is Plantae protein made from?

The Watsons listing for Plantae Protein Dutch Chocolate 400 g names five protein sources: soy protein isolate, pea, pumpkin seed, sunflower seed and rice, with added L-leucine, L-isoleucine and L-valine, and warns that people allergic to soy protein should not take it. There is no milk or whey in the ingredients.

How far can price per gram go?

When we checked, the listing priced it at 825 baht for 400 g but gave no protein per scoop, so only the price per gram of powder can be worked out: 825 ÷ 400 = 2.06 baht. Powder is not all protein, so the real price per gram of protein is higher. If you have a tub, use the protein per scoop and scoops from its label in the price-per-gram calculator.
